Viceroy was created through an artist lead process with community members on the west side of Chicago. Using paper cut-outs and discussions during a series of workshops, symbols and ornamental forms were created which the lead artist developed into the final sculpture design. The sculpture anchors the street corner of a newly renovated housing project.
